Dallas Arboretum

We took Marty to the Arboretum on Sunday. Dallas Blooms (the spring bulb event) is going on, but they also have a special exhibit called "Storybook Playhouses." These playhouses were so elaborate - Marty (and Tyler) had a great time playing in them! Marty finished up the day with an ice cream sandwich.

Purim

On Friday, there was a Purim Carnival at Marty's school. He came home with numerous favors: a hamentashen (sp?) cookie that he made with his class, a grogger made from an empty toilet paper roll, and a Haman-style balloon hat, which was his favorite. He agreed to put the hat on his dresser during naptime to "let it watch me sleep." However, it was the first thing he put on post-nap, even before putting on pants!
