Chanukah

Tonight was the first night of Chanukah... Thank you to Nonna, Grandad, and Will for reminding us! A couple of pictures of Marty lighting the candles and one of the menorah that he made at school. He really wanted to sing "Happy Birthday," and he just couldn't understand that he wasn't supposed to blow the candles out!

Shabbat Music

We recently received a CD of the music that is played during the Preschool Shabbat Service each week. Marty can't get enough of it...

Carriage Ride

On Tuesday night, we went on a carriage ride with Carolyn, Rick and Rush. We rode around Highland Park to look at the Christmas lights. The driver let Marty sit with him and steer Poncho and Lefty (the horses) on the way home. Despite the freezing cold, we all had a great time!

Share Shabbat

Last Friday was "Share Shabbat" for Marty's class, which means that they led the pledge and the prayers for weekly school-wide Shabbat. Marty has his back to the camera in both pictures, but you get the idea....
